Outboard/ sterndrive hydraulic steering fill kit

Fills Seastar and Teleflex hydraulic steering.

Replaces Seastar/Teleflex part no.  799784 

               HA5438

Includes:

  • Fill hose
  • Discharge hose.
  • Fitting to screw into fill fitting at helm
  • Fitting that screws onto quart bottle. (quart bottle of oil is not included.)
  • 1 quart empty fill bottle. 
  • Push pin to put vent hole in empty quart bottle.
Quart bottle in picture is a representation. Bottle you will get may be same one or one that had Mercury power steering fluid in it or a black one that had Mercury Verado oil in it.

Bottle has been thoroughly drained of all oil.

Empty quart fill bottle is used instead of quart bottle of oil. Put pin hole in empty quart bottle not quart bottle of oil.

Oil is not included.

This fill hose is the old style.

New.

The Mercedes B-Class Fuel Cell cars arrive back in Stuttgart Since January Mercedes has been driving round the world with a trio of hydrogen fuel cell cars to demonstrate that the future is all about hydrogen fuel cells, and not about hybrids or BEVs. In the four months since the three Mercedes B-Class Fuel Cell cars left home in Stuttgart at the end of January, they have covered 30,000 km each (that’s around 18.6k miles) and had zero emissions. Which will please the environmentalists no end.

Opel Ampera – Official picture ahead of Geneva

GM really needs the Chevy Volt/Opel Ampera to be well received. The problem is that the technology for the car doesn’t even exist yet, unless of course GM have made huge strides they’re about to reveal when the car gets fully unveiled at Geneva ’09 tomorrow. But it’s not a proper reveal, in the sense that the Ampera will be ready to sell.

The Chevrolet Trax – the Chevrolet take on the Vauxhall Mokka – has been revealed ahead of a debut at the Paris Motor Show in September. We reported a few months ago that we could expect the Chevrolet Trax at the Paris Motor Show, but ahead of that reveal Chevrolet has sent us some photos of the Trax and a few details. Effectively the Chevrolet take on the Opel and Vauxhall Mokka (and, for that matter, the Buick Encore), the Trax gets a a Chevy makeover for the front and back and the required rebadging.
