New SeaStar Solutions (Teleflex Marine) mechanical rack & pinion steering cable. Part number SSC13418 (cable series is SSC134, length is 18 foot). This is the same cable that is used in the SS141 and SS151 series rack & pinion steering systems. For single-station, single-cable applications only.

Important Notes
This does not replace SSC124 series cables.
Helm mounting bolt dimensions are 1-5/8" by 2-1/4" bolt center-to-center (4 bolts). Compare to your current to make sure this is correct.

Toyota proposing $1.1 billion unintended acceleration settlement in US

Toyota are setting aside an additional $1.1 billion to settle claims in the US of unintended acceleration in their cars. In the ongoing saga of unintended acceleration in the US caused by floor mats, Toyota has revealed it is to set aside an additional $1.1 billion to settle claims and fit new equipment to cars affected by the floor mat problem. Toyota are going to install a brake override system in 3.25 million vehicles, set aside $250 million to compensate owners who have already sold their cars, another $250 million for affected owners whose cars can’t get the brake override system, throw in a care plan  for parts related to unintended acceleration and throw $30 million at research in to car safety.

Made in Hofu in Japan, the Mazda 2 adopts the firm’s Kodo design language that was first seen on the Mazda 6.

SsangYong will show XUV 1 concept at Frankfurt

South Korean automaker SsangYong will have something to brag about at the Frankfurt motor show in September--namely, the new concept XUV 1. The XUV 1 is a small crossover vehicle with a shape similar to that of the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque. At least that's what we see from teaser photos released on Thursday.
