Kia are to reveal the Kia Venga - a mini MPV - at the Frankfurt Motor Show But now Kia has turned the No. 3 Concept in to a reality, and are launching the Kia Venga to the Frankfurt Motor Show next month (maybe they can get the Dutch dance band the Vengaboys to do the promo – boom, boom, boom?!). Maserati and Poltrona Frau showcasing continuing collaboration

Maserati and Poltrona Frau are showcasing their continuing collaboration in automotive design in a weeklong exhibition at Design Centre at Chelsea Harbor, London. From 18 until 22 June the glass domes of Design Centre will play host to a Maserati GranCabrio Sport as well as one of Poltrona Frau's skilled artisan upholsterers working on a chair throughout the week in a demonstration of traditional Italian craftsmanship. Poltrona Frau, the international high-end furniture company, has realized the interiors of the entire Maserati range – including the Quattroporte saloon, GranTurismo coupe and GranCabrio convertible – through its 100-year history of leather working and handcraftsmanship.

VW designer de'Silva pens a Leica camera

Leica, the German camera maker, introduced the Walter de'Silva-designed Leica M9 Titanium edition camera recently at Photokina, the biannual photo gathering in Germany. De'Silva, head of design for Volkswagen and responsible for designing the Audi A5 and Volkswagen Scirocco, took Leica's original M9 camera and created the M9 Titanium. De'Silva employed his Audi design team to assist in the project.
