Mon, 17 Jun 2013More than 50 BYD E6 EVs arrive in Southampton, ready for UK trials It’s three years since the BYD E6 was revealed at the Detroit Auto Show, with big claims for the future of BYD and the E6. And now the E6 has arrived in the UK. More than 50 BYD E6s have arrived in Southampton docks and are heading out for trials with UK fleet operators, principally the Taxi market.
Bugatti Veyron Limited Editions at Dubai Motor Show
Tue, 15 Dec 2009Buhgatti has revealed three Limited Edition Veyrons at the Dubai Motor Show We’re back to yet more Bugatti Veyron Limited Edition cars to add to the 300 already out there (sorry, that’s the number of Veyrons in total – but it’s close to the number of ‘Special’ Veyrons) with the reveal of the Veyron Nocturne, the Veyron Sang d’Argent and the Veyron Soleil de Nuit at the Dubai Motor Show today. The Veyron Nocturne is a limited run of five cars costing €1.65 million each. Bugatti wax lyrical about “…extraordinary partition of surfaces never used so far, giving the car a new dimension of lateral length” and “…galvanized side windows continuing the line of the polished aluminium upper body parts to the rear of the car and contrast vividly with the uni black of the side- and door-panels and the roof.” So much as with every other Veyron Limited Edition it’s about setting the car apart.

In the case of the 2011 Ford C-Max and the 2011 Ford Grand C-Max it is almost exactly a year since Ford unwrapped what will be the first Ford to use the Global C-Segment platform – which will also underpin the 2011 Ford Focus and the next generation Ford Kuga – at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Having finally got the C-Max to the UK, we’re pleased to see that instead of foisting endless trim specifications levels on to buyers Ford has decied to keep it simple with just two options on the C-Max and the Grand C-Max – either Zetec or Titanium.
