BMW Concept Active Tourer [w/Gallery]

Fri, 14 Sep 2012

BMW will be presenting its new concept, the BMW Concept Active Tourer, at this month's Paris motor show as part of the ongoing development of the BMW brand and its model range. With a length of 4,350 mm, a width of 1,834mm and a height of 1,560mm, the wedge-shaped BMW Concept Active Tourer targets the premium market along with families, and because of the car's long wheelbase of 2,670mm and a high roofline it allows for a spacious interior. The car's front face features the signature front-tilted BMW radiator grille and wraparound headlamps with two large air inlets underneath, designed to emphasize the car's width.

Volkswagen Beetle Dune Concept heading for Detroit

Fri, 10 Jan 2014

Volkswagen Beetle Dune Concept (pictured) heading for Detroit The original VW Beetle was a perfect candidate for a Dune Buggy, and many old VWs were converted to blast across sand dunes around the world. VW had a bash at their own Dune Buggy back in 2000, but now, ahead of a reveal at the Detroit Auto Show next week, we have what looks like a buggy from VW that could actually be heading for production – the Volkswagen Beetle Dune Concept. VW has revealed a single image of their Beetle Dune Concept (above) that shows a jacked-up Beetle with big wheels and tyres, a ski rack on the back and a bit of cosmetic titivation.

Vauxhall Limited Edition models add extra gloss to the Vauxhall range

Mon, 23 Dec 2013

Vauxhall Limited Edition models add extra gloss to the Vauxhall range There’s nothing quite like a Limited Edition with added extras at a bargain price to put a bit of a skip in the sales of cars, especially at a quiet time of year. Which explains why Vauxhall has announced new Limited Edition versions of the Astra, Astra GTC, Insignia and Astra to their range of offerings in the UK. The Vauxhall Corsa Sting starts at just £8,995 and comes with a choice of 16 or 17″ alloys in whiote or silver, sports stripes, CD/MP3 player and speed sensitive steering.
