Up for sale is a nice set of used BBC 7/16 heavy duty dimpled rods. These were used in the LS-6 and L-88 engines but of course would also work in any other big block engine as well.  None of the rods have been spun or damaged.  The rods are all marked 1-8 and came out of the same motor. So if you are building a high horse big block these would be the ticket!!!

BMW took the wraps off its latest concept car at the Concorso d'Eleganza in Villa d'Este this past weekend. Called the M1 Hommage, the concept is exactly what it says on the tin: pay homage to the iconic M1 designed by Giorgio Giugiaro, which celebrates its 30th birthday this year. The design of the M1 Hommage concept is a thoroughly modern interpretation of the original - compete with a louvered rear window - but it has grown in size over its thirty year old forebear.

Full-scale model of 5th Peugeot Design Competition winner revealed in Shanghai

A life-sized model of Carlos Arturo Torres Tovar's RD concept, for which the 26 year old Columbian designer won the 5th Peugeot Design competition, is on display at the Peugeot stand in Shanghai. The 'RD' concept was chosen via an online internet poll and a competition jury headed by Peugeot's Managing Director, Jean Philippe Collin in September last year. The theme for the 2008 competition was 'Imagine the Peugeot in the worldwide megapolis of tomorrow'.

The Stig has been arrested - twice According to reports on the Top Gear web site, the Stig was arrested in Dublin soon after the Top Gear boys were lambasted by Belfast local politicians for their ‘Profligate’ antics. What was his Stigness arrested for? No idea.
