Each ring is made out of 5052 aluminum and has been punched and formed to perfection. One ring is $70. These retail at several other companies for a much higher price so this is truely a great deal. Thu, 08 Jul 2010The first Automotive Interiors Expo, an event that was part of no less than five automotive trade exhibitions gathered together at the Stuttgart Messe, took place in southern Germany from the 22 to 24 of June. The exhibitions, comprising European Automotive Components Expo, Automotive Testing Expo, Vehicle Dynamics Expo and Engine Expo, showcased the latest technologies and services from over 500 suppliers to the automotive industry. Grouped in three large halls, the Expo covered conventional powertrains and batteries right through to vehicle electrical systems and crash testing, but it also featured a panel of experts discussing the color, feel and shape of material design, synergies and design challenges; safety, lighting and HMI's; and interior component design as a means of achieving sustainable and lightweight vehicles.

The original Giulietta Sprint was first unveiled to the public on April 19 1954 at the Turin Motor Show, and later sold for the princely sum of just £1,250. To celebrate the iconic model’s 60th anniversary, Alfa Romeo UK entered all customers who ordered a new Giulietta during the 60th anniversary event (April 7-22, 2014) into a prize draw, offering one customer the chance to be refunded the difference between the 1954 and 2014 prices.
Infiniti Q50 hit by steer-by-wire recall in the US
Thu, 26 Dec 2013Infiniti has issued a recall notice in the US for a small number of Q50 models fitted with the firm’s new Direct Adaptive Steering system. This is a ‘steer-by-wire’ steering system that only has a mechanical link between the steering wheel and the wheels as a back-up. The rest of the time the steering is operated by electronics, rather than a direct connection.
