Front Glass pulled off a 4 Door 1955 Mercedes Ponton Sedan 220a W180. Will be interchangeable with other Ponton models but buyer will need to verify exactly which
.      Sigla AS-1 D-60 W Tenn-Ruhr
1 small crack, pictured. Good chance it can be filled in. At the right angle,  you can catch rub pattern from wiper blades. Minor hazing at bottom.
All faults can be seen in the photos provided. (In fact, we carefully paid attention to the angle & light to ensure the flaws would stand out & be seen without question. This has made the windshield appear in a little rougher shape that it actually is.)
Overall good shape for a 50 +  year old windshield.

And although the CLC is based on the current C-class-derived Sports Coupe, Merc hopes that the 1100 new or revised components will make the car a serious challenger to the BMW 1-series coupe. It certainly looks slicker than the current car, and with C-class inspired styling it looks smarter than today's stumpy model.

Spurred by the story of our ride in Steve McQueen's Jaguar XKSS, Richard Haight felt inclined to chime in with the fact that he not only raced motorcycles with (and against) McQueen, but knew him all the way until the King of Cool's death. Haight raced motorcycles on and off for 50 years. McQueen would come and race at the local American Motorcycle Association District 37, usually entering under assumed names like "Harvey Mushman" to enjoy some semblance of normality.
