Item is a Sigtronics Transcom II SPO-42 Portable Intercom. Fail safe feature allows pilot to always hear radios - even if the intercom is off. Operates up to 40 hours on one 9-volt battery. Includes DC power cable to offer seamless operation on either battery or 11-34 Volt DC aircraft power. Radio priority assures that ATC hears only the crew member transmitting. Push to Talk Switch inputs for both pilot and copilot. Music input for CD player, MP3 player or AM / FM receiver. Audio output for recording ATC flight dialog.


Item has very little signs of wear and use on it. Item will come with cords already attached to item ready for installation.

First new Saab rolls off the production line

A NEW SAAB car has rolled off the Swedish production line for the first time in two and a half years. National Electric Vehicle Sweden, the Hong Kong-based company that bought Saab out of bankruptcy in September last year, presented its new 9-3 Aero at the factory in Trollhattan. The company, also called NEVS, aims to make electric cars under the Saab brand, but said it will also provide petrol cars until "electric cars fully meet customer demands." The first 200 cars will be delivered in spring costing 279,000 kronor (£26,000) each.

Honda's Asimo robot is ready to work in your home

TECHNOLOGY giant Honda has shown that a robotic personal assistant that can help you in and out of the home is no longer solely the subject of science fiction, with the debut of its latest ASIMO robot. The humanoid machine has been upgraded so that it can now run, hop and even pick up and interact with objects in the world around it. Honda has been working on robotics since the 1980s, and this latest incarnation of ASIMO is the most advanced the company has ever produced, with improvements made to movement and reactions.
