Toyota/Scion coupe specs reach the Internet

Mon, 31 Oct 2011

Specifications for the Toyota FT-86 and Scion FR-S coupes have leaked on the Internet via scanned images of the training manual, posted at www.ft86club.com. If the site's translations are correct, the 2,667-pound coupe will use a 2.0-liter flat-four engine that makes 197 hp at 7,000 rpm and 150 lb-ft of torque at 6,600 rpm. It looks as if the FR-S will come in two trim levels: a higher-spec variant that features a limited-slip rear differential in both manual and automatic versions of the car and a lower-spec model that has only the limited-slip diff with the manual transmission.

Sat, 05 Jul 2008

Worry not though, as there are plenty of technical highlights to surprise and delight. Rear-wheel steer, Efficient Dynamics technology, night-vision, unrestricted internet access, a revised iDrive system and an all-new 3.0-litre diesel engine stand out.

Audi A5 Sportback – Official

Thu, 16 Jul 2009

Audi has released details of the A5 Sportback that will launch in the UK in September Audi are on a mission to fill every niche that exists – and some that don’t – in order to reach their goal of selling 1.5 million cars a year by 2015. Set to go on sale in the UK and Europe (but not the US) after the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, the Audi A5 Sportback is said to offer the practicality of an estate with the elegance of a Coupe. And in many ways it does offer that.
