BMW 5-Series GT to get xDrive – BMW 740d xDrive announced

BMW are adding xDrive as an option across the 5 Series GT range We really don’t ‘Get’ the BMW 5 Series GT. To be fair, we haven’t driven one so it’s a viewpoint from afar. But we can’t deny it fills the gap between the 5 Series Estate and the 5 Series Saloon,  we just hadn’t realised that there was a gap that needed filling.

Vauxhall Insignia VXR makes its UK public Debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed The Vauxhall Insignia VXR was revealed in April as a 325bhp version of the very good Insignia. Featuring adaptive four wheel drive and an electronic limited slip diff., the handling is also aided by a 10mm lower suspension setup than the standard Insignia, and HiPerStrut front suspension which keeps torque steer in check. McLaren P1: Geneva Motor Show

The new McLaren P1 has been revealed publicly for the first time at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show where it goes up against LaFerrari. In contrast, McLaren has been busy trailing the P1 for months and had revealed all we really wanted to know ahead of today at Geneva. That garnered more column inches for the McLaren than the Ferrari in the run-up to Geneva but it’s meant that the actual public reveal of the McLaren P1 has been totally overshadowed today by the reveal of LaFerrari.
