Nissan and Fiat marketing heads trade insults over 'visual pollution'
Thu, 06 Dec 2012A war of words has erupted between Fiat and Nissan's marketing departments over their electric vehicle designs, the Leaf and the 500e. Matt Davis, head of Fiat product marketing, told Bloomberg News before the launch of its all-electric 500e at the Los Angeles show last week that "ugliness is probably one of the worst forms of pollution," seen as an indirect attack on Nissan's electric offering. The then 500e came under attack with Nissan criticizing the fact that it was created only to meet Californian emissions requirements.

First to arrive will be the X5 M50d and X6 M50d in the summer, with the M550d Saloon and M550d Estate probably not hitting the UK until close to the end of the year, but the UK won’t be getting the M550d xDrive – our cars will be RWD.
BBC probe Top Gear 'practices'
Wed, 06 Aug 2014THE BBC has held an internal investigation into Top Gear after a string of controversies involving the hit motoring show. The show was found to have breached Ofcom's broadcasting rules last month over a ''racial'' term used by presenter Jeremy Clarkson.
