College Exhibition: Art Center Summer Show 2011 - Non-thesis work

Besides their main crux of thesis projects, nine graduating students in the acclaimed Transportation Design course showcased some of the designs they worked on during their internships and in previous years. Rolls Royce has record 2008
Fri, 09 Jan 2009We reported a while back about Rolls Royce prospering despite the credit crunch, and figures revealed today show that they continue to prosper despite the doom and gloom. When we last wrote about this back in November, we reported that Rolls Royce’s year end showed an increase of 38% year on year, with a total of 945 cars sold. Well, they’ve obviously continued in the same vein as their 2008 sales total has reached 1210, an increase of 20% over 2007.

When Tata bought Jaguar Land Rover from Ford back in 2008 for $2.3 billion it offered promise for the future, but most analysts thought Tata had made a big mistake buying JLR for so much, just as the world economy started to slip ion to the near depression we’re still fighting. But the analysts were wrong.
