DESCRIPTION:

This custom size shield directly replaces the shield on the Yamaha Royal Star Venture.  It looks great and functions as good as it looks.  It is made of Lucite®  which is a very nice windshield material.  It is one of the most rigid motorcycle windshield materials on the market.  Lucite resists yellowing more than most other windshield materials and it is the most optically clear motorcycle windshield material on the market.  Another nice advantage of Lucite is that it does not have to be coated with any hardcoating.  Hardcoated shields deteriorate rather quickly, making this Lucite shield a wise long term investment.

In the photo supplied below are many windshields; here you are getting the shield that has the (6") below it.

NOTE... People often get confused by the product terminologies *windshield & windscreen*. The fact of the matter is they are two names for the exact same product.

The Petersen Museum's proposed new exterior

Mon, 22 Jul 2013

This is not Architectureweek and granted, the Petersen Automotive Museum really does have to do something to its drab, Ohrbach's department store exterior to let people know there's a car museum inside. Shown here is what they're planning to do. The Petersen museum released this drawing of its planned exterior revision.

New Ford KA Concept revealed

Wed, 13 Nov 2013

New Ford KA Concept revealed The current Ford KA really hasn’t been an overwhelming success for Ford – unlike the original KA – and there was a point where Ford were considering scrapping the KA altogether. But common sense has prevailed in a car buying world that is seeing more and more downsizing, so Ford is planning a new KA – expected to arrive for the 2015 model year – but, unlike the current KA, it won’t be a shared venture with the Fiat 500. Instead, it seems Ford are planning on using the previous generation Fiesta platform to underpin the new KA and offer a proper Ford city car rather than a second-rate Fiat 500.

Hyundai Veloster Turbo Confirmed

Tue, 01 Nov 2011

Hyundai Veloster to get new 204bhp Turbo When Hyundai revealed details of the Veloster Coupe – the successor to the successful Hyundai Coupe – we found lots we liked and, really, just on thing we didn’t – its paucity of power. All the new Veloster had to offer was the 138bhp 1.6 litre GDI petrol which, although quite frugal, didn’t exactly light a fire of desire for the Veloster in the way we would have liked. So when we reported a couple of weeks ago that Hyundai had revealed a couple of new engines in Korea – a 204bhp turbo and a 150bhp diesel – we rather hoped that Hyundai would see fit to bolt both in to the Veloster sooner rather than later.
