Honda S660 concept stars at the Tokyo Motor Show 2013

Honda is calling the S660 a concept, but when company president Takanobu Ito took to the stage at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, one of the first things he did was confirm this exciting new small sports car – the spiritual successor to the Honda Beat – will be going into production in 2015. This is great news for Honda, and Ito-san acknowledged a next-generation small sports car has been long awaited by Honda fans, who’ve had little excitement to cheer about since the last Civic Type R and the S2000 roadster were stripped from the model line up. 2014 Chevrolet Volt gets a $5,000 price cut

General Motors is cutting the Chevrolet Volt's price by $5,000 amid price pressure from rival electrified vehicles. The sticker price on the 2014 Volt, which will arrive at dealerships this month, will be $34,995, including an $810 destination fee. That drops the effective price to $27,495, after applying the $7,500 federal tax credit for the plug-in hybrid.

Pagani Zonda F Cinque – er, no it’s not!

The mysterious 'Zonda F Cinque' - which is actually a Regular Zonda Cinque But we are still to see the Zonda Cinque (which is essentially a tamed-down Zonda R for the road) in the wild, and probably because of that the car sites around the world were full of a mysterious ‘Zonda F Cinque’ that was going to turn up at the Geneva Motor Show. But we had our doubts. We have pretty good contacts at Pagani, and although we knew that the Pagani coming to Geneva was in fact the Cinque (as well as the Zonda R) we wanted to work out where the rumour came from.
