I have a very close friend who had intentions of restoring several old Fords. Among the cars he had were a 64 ½ Mustang, Fast Back Mustang, Shelby Cobra Mustang, 62 or 63 Thunderbird, 78 Thunderbird, 78 Lincoln Diamond Jubilee, and a Ford Ranchero. For the most part, most is the things I am listing have never been out of the original box until I took them out for these pictures! I am listing parts as I find them - he bought a lot of ford parts from local dealers from the mid 1960's until about 10 years ago. He was more of a parts collector rather than a parts user. Non of the cars were restored and none of the parts were used. He is now in a nursing home and I am helping his sister go through this things to help with bills he still owes. Intermot-IVM Design Award Competition 2004
Fri, 21 May 2004A perception that young people are less and less attracted to motorbikes provides the theme for the first Intermot-IVM Design Award competition. The Motorcycle Industry Association of Germany (IVM e.V.) and the Trade Fair Munich/Intermot have decided to intensively take care of their young clients with several activities this year. As young people are no longer inspired by superb technology alone, but are impressed more and more visually, it is only logical to place a greater emphasis on the design of the bike in winning over young customers.

‘Hidden’ damage on hire cars costing drivers

A survey conducted by YouGov found that 37% of business travellers found damage to their hired vehicle which was not marked down on the documentation when they collected the car. This could lead to the user being charged for the damage and liable to lose any insurance excess amount – which could be as much as £2,000.
