Toyota Motor Corp. will invest $400 million to build a hybrid version of the Highlander crossover in Princeton, Ind. Toyota already builds the Highlander in Indiana but the hybrid Highlander has been assembled in Japan.

Honda is recalling more than 143,000 Fit cars from the 2007-08 model years in the United States for defective headlights. Potential low-beam headlight failure stems from a wiring defect that could cause connectors to overheat and fail. Honda will start notifying U.S.

The fifth owner of the 2005 Porsche Carrera GT in which "Fast and the Furious" actor Paul Walker and the car's owner and driver, Roger Rodas, were killed appears to have been IndyCar driver and avid car collector Graham Rahal. The car had six different owners since it was new. Rodas' Always Evolving car shop was the sixth owner.
