Italian made solex carburetors. professionaly rebuilt to new conditions. these carburetors are delivered with the adjustable -screw in type- idle air enrichment jets . The carburetors are delivered having an easy fit push in type air correctors/emulsion tubes/main jets change just by lifting the little jet cover situated on the top cover of the carburetors(as pictured). emulsion tube type can be A04 ,A05,B01 or B02. other types of emulsion tubes are also available upon request. these are highly sophisticated carburetors-done the solex way. very light-no strain on the intake manifold nor supports. reliable carburetors. with a little notion of carburetors these can be adapted to run on every type of engine. with a few tricks they can run at performance level and also perform well as a daily street driver. pump stroke can be made to be slow/progressive and prolonged or fast and with high volume. tackling a flat spot upon acceleration is done very easily. same intake & airfilter bolt pattern as the weber 40 DCOE carburetors. the carburetors can be delivered having 28-36mm venturis setup at no extra charge. cable or ball&joint throttle lever type-upon request. the auction is for the pair of carburetors-as shown in the pics. Tue, 04 Dec 2012The Porsche Macan – the baby Cayenne – is to get a new, bold look before it launches in 2014, to make it better able to compete against the Range Rover Evoque. The Porsche Macan, Porsche’s baby Cayenne based on the underpinnings of the Audi Q5, is a big deal for Porsche. Having discovered that an SUV could revive their fortunes after they launched the Cayenne a decade ago, the smaller, lower-priced Macan should give both Porsche’s sales and profits a big boost.
Alfa Romeo 4C
Tue, 12 Feb 2013The production version of the Alfa Romeo 4C will make its debut at next month's Geneva motor show, two years after the concept appeared. Largely unchanged from the prototype, the 4C retains its mid-engined layout, short and wide proportions (less than 4,000mm long, 2,000mm wide, 1,180mm high and a 2,400mm wheelbase) and broadly similar surfacing. The changes appear to be more focused around productionized details.
