CONVERT YOUR 5 SPEED TROLLING MOTOR TO A Wireless trolling motor WITH THIS CONTROLLER, older version with separate antenna. Use with red remote FOB at 915 Mhz. Brand new, never used. Will ship to Canada. IT DOES NOT INCLUDE THE REMOTE, BUY ONE ON EBAY FOR ABOUT $60.00. - ignore red and black wires, they are for a steering motor. Use screw terminals to hook your motor and battery up. Simple. This is not a kit. You will need to mount it on aluminum to dissipate the heat. No case, just the Motorguide controller. I will take returns. Because the circuit is pulse width modulation, when you reduce speed, you do not use as much battery current. On a 5 speed motor, when you reduce speed, all you are doing is putting resistance coils in the circuit. You go slower but still use full current and drain your battery. Using PWM, , you slow down but do not waste current. Get more time on the water.

Video: Chris Bangle delivers “Empowerment: Design without Designers” talk at Creative Mornings/London

Wed, 09 Nov 2011

Chris Bangle – the undisputed front man of car design – needs little introduction, so the prospect of the former BMW Design Director and now founder of Chris Bangle Associates giving a talk in our home town of London was too good to pass up. His presentation (which you can watch in full in the video to the left) touched on his time at BMW, but was more focused on the idea of empowering others to create: "design without you in the middle", as Bangle says. From the story of the co-creation of the staircase in his Italian studio to the idea of encouraging people to think about their culture when designing, his philosophies transcend disciplines.
