Descriptions:
As the majority of aftermarket alloy wheels are needed to suit a wide variety of vehicles. The center bore on the back of aftermarket alloy wheel is always larger so it can be used on many vehicles. As the hub of the vehicle takes the weight of the car on the wheels, a Spigot Ring, or centre rings is needed to centrally mount each wheel perfectly. These are generally made of hard plastic or metal and come in a variety of sizes to fit the majority of applications.
Spigot rings are needed to eliminate any wheel wobble, or vibrations that may occur from aftermarket wheels not being mounted centrally onto the vehicles hub. Not using spigot rings is potentially dangerous as the weight of the vehicle will be on the studs/bolts and they could break when driving leading to a wheel coming off!
Installation Procedure:
1. Determine Required Spigot Ring Dimensions
Measure the center bore is on the back of the alloy wheel. It's your outer diameter. Measure the hub bore of car. It's your inner diameter.
2. Install Spigot Ring
Install it in the centre bore of the alloy wheel
3. Test Fit
These spigot rings help to mount the alloy wheel centrally on the hub and eliminating any wheel vibrations by ensuring a tight and secure fit.

The new BMW X5 costs from £42,590 for the sDrive25d
We had the reveal of the new BMW X5 this week (which is either a new X5 or a facelift for the current X5, depending on how you look at it, and also the 2013 or 2014 X5) and now we have full UK prices for the new range. The starting point will be the X5 sDrive25d – BMW’s first rear wheel drive X5 and the first with a 4-cylinder engine – which will cost from £42,590 and comes with BMW’s 2.0 litre diesel which will give economy of 50.4mpg and emissions of 155g/km. BMW expect the same figures to apply to the next up the range – the X5 xDrive25d – which gets the same four-pot diesel as the sDrive version but has 4WD.
