Harley-Davidson sportster tank and fenders 95 to 2003 Remanufactured Inside and Outside Tank was stripped to bare mental inside and outside. Inside was sealed with the gold standard gas tank sealer kit. No worries with leaks or rust for the next ten year. All paints are from House of Kolor. Top of tank is a shade lighter then the side of the tank and the fenders the sides are a shade lighter then the top of the fender.Tank nozzle was seal to protect paint from gas vapor that would blister the paint. Also front and rear fenders were undercoated with a rubberized coating to protect the paint from stones. Tank is for a carbureted bike and is left side petcock. Thanks for looking :-) PS Everyone that sees the set say they liked the color even one person said he doesn't like green but said he like this green. Picture don't do justice to the set. And I should price it at $1200.00 a new set would cost you $2000.00 This is as good as a new set for less then half the price. It is very labor intensive to redo the inside of a tank and it is expensive to do. I think that $895.00 is more then fair. Again Thanks for looking. Opel and Auto Design and Styling magazine launch new sketch contest
Wed, 08 May 2013Opel and Auto Design and Styling magazine have joined forces to launch the ‘Adam Seeks Eve' sketch competition. The competition, which is open to amateur and professional designers of all ages, asks participants to "sketch the ideal car partner for the Opel Adam." Designs can be a personalized Adam, a model inspired by it, or its next iteration. The winner will be awarded a free ticket to the AutoDesign Prague Automotive Design Conference and the AutoDesign Prague Workshop as well as being lent an Adam for a week.
New Infiniti G Series to debut at 2013 Detroit Auto Show
Sun, 21 Oct 2012The new 2013 / 2014 Infiniti G Series will debut at the Detroit Motor Show in January before going on sale later in 2013. Infiniti may not have managed to make the biggest mark on the car landscape in the UK, but the news of a new G-Series is interesting because it seems likely it will offer a more interesting design and more Europe-focused powertrains. The current Infini G37 comes as a 3.7 litre V6 and nothing else, which doesn’t exactly help sales in Europe where economy and CO2 levels are a bigger driver of sales than they are in Infiniti’s main market, the USA.
