Kingpin Removable Pedestals, 13" Post.
The Kingpin pedestal is Springfield's first-generation plug-in seat pedestal, but it remains popular with bass boaters. The Kingpin is a 2-position Hi-Lo pedestal that allows a bass boat seat to be used in a Hi position for fishing, and a Lo position while the boat is underway. From the bottom of the swivel seat mount, and also the plug-in post, extends a 3/4" diameter pin of plated steel. Similarly, both the floor-mounted base and the top of the post contain a socket with a corresponding diameter of 3/4". This allows the seat mount to fit into the top of the post - which creates the Hi position - or directly into the base - where it is in the Lo position

Mercedes has announced that the CLS Shooting Brake, which was shown as a concept at the Beijing motor show in April 2010, will go into production in 2012.
Well, if you want a car that will turn heads around town – and find the E-class estate has a little too much room – then this is the car for you. Mercedes flatly refuses to admit that the CLS Shooting Brake is an estate, preferring to call it a ‘sporty four-door coupe with a sloping tail end based on the CLS’. In essence, this car is a hatchback version of the CLS, and despite a slightly raised roof, it still sits a full 10cm lower than its E-class sibling.

Ferrari boss Luca di Montezemolo has announced an unusual plan for the Prancing Horse: to sell fewer cars in 2013 than the 7000 it delivered in 2012. Speaking in Maranello, di Montezemolo stated that 'this is a far-sighted decision to strengthen our brand equity, from what I learned from Enzo Ferrari… We must resist people who say the competition will benefit from us making fewer cars… When others penetrate our markets, we are happy to meet this challenge.'
Is Ferrari mad to chase fewer sales? It is not the first time that Ferrari has decided to limit supply: 'In 2003 we did the same,' explains Montezemolo.
