Gently used item; no corrosion or damage. This type of item does not wear out so why would you pay more?
Brand:Springfield Manufacturer Part Number:1780203 Country/Region of Manufacture:United States

I have a gently-used* Transom Tuff'ner brand anodized aluminum transom reinforcing plate that fits modern outboards with the BIAA [Boating Industry Association of America] standard bolt pattern* for the upper two bolts. This is the heavy-duty FOUR by SEVENTEEN inch plate not the cheaper two inch wide one!  Designed to spread the stress of the engine's weight and thrust over a wider area of the transom to minimize cracking. It's cheap insurance against damage on a newer boat and a quick, inexpensive fix on an older hull.  Install this on your boat and you won't be able to tell it from new; these things don't wear out!  Thanks for looking.*Was installed on boat with a compromised transom by previous owner; I'm junking boat so this is available for sale.  Nice shape; no disappointments.

New British car company coming?

Fri, 17 Jan 2014

British entrepreneur David Brown, not to be confused with the late Aston Martin owner Sir David Brown or the former British Prime Minister, has announced the upcoming debut of a new luxury sports-car brand bearing his name. Brown has teamed up with ex-Land Rover chief designer Alan Mobberley to create the new car, dubbed "Project Judi" for now. This wouldn't be an update of any existing model but rather an all-new exterior and interior design.

Webinars: Designing next-gen automotive interiors with LEDs

Tue, 26 Jan 2010

CDN's second webinar 'Visualization, Illumination and Sensing: Designing Next Generation Automotive Interiors with LEDs' was presented by Osram Opto Semiconductors on 17 February, 2010. View the recorded webinar in our archive by clicking the above link or find out more in the original article below.   Lighting has been revolutionized by the LED – their small size and low energy consumption gives designers a whole new palette of light and colors not previously possible. They are design elements in themselves, and they allow the ambience of an interior to fuse customization with sensing technology.
