Hyundai will unveil the new i-flow concept car at the Geneva motor show 2010. The new i-flow previews the style of Hyundai’s upcoming Sonata replacement, the i40. This first official photo of the Hyundai i-flow demonstrates familiar design cues: as with the i20 and iX35, hard creases and high hips define an eager stance typical of the new Hyundai style.

After the overwhelming success of its European and North American interactive design competitions, GM and Car Design News are excited to announce the launch of their first competition exclusively for the Chinese market, the CDN–GM/PATAC Interactive Design Competition China. According to Bryan Nesbitt, Vice President of Design at GM International Operations, "We are excited about the potential regarding a China-dedicated competition. Design is the initial product differentiator in the automotive retail space, so demand for top design talent will continue." And this – the Volvo V60 Diesel Plug-in Hybrid – is one that should definitely have made it in to our coverage earlier. We’re not big fans of the hybrid route – especially in small cars – but when it’s used to produce a car that is more economical and more powerful, we start to get it.
