Stage-8 Locking header bolts are made of grade-8 quality steel and use a patented 3 piece system that consists of a grooved bolt, a retainer and spring clip. The retainer fits over the head of the bolt, the retainer fits up against the header, and the clip snaps into the groove for a secure fit that won't wiggle loose. Bolts with a 6 point DHH (Double Hex Head) feature a recessed 3/16'' allen head inside the hex head for installation in those tight spots. 8MM-1.25 X 22MM. Made in the USA.

Toyota Camatte concept

Toyota is to display a family-oriented concept vehicle at the 2012 Tokyo Toy Show in order to promote cars to a new generation of potential drivers. The Camatte project is based around a customizable body with interchangeable body panels hung from a simple body structure and components that allows people to reengage with the inner workings of the motor car. It will be displayed in two configurations – Camatte Sora – the turquoise car – Camatte Daichi – the military-looking beige machine.

Mini electric test delayed by surge of applicants

Mini USA is taking longer than expected to select 450 lessees for its electric car because of the deluge of about 1,800 applicants. Drivers who are chosen are expected to get cars in April. The program originally had been expected to begin at the start of the year.

North East worst for road safety

THE NORTH EAST of England has the worst rates for deaths and serious injuries on England’s roads according to data from the Department for Transport. In 2012, the number of deaths and serious injuries in the North East increased by 8%, with an extra 65 incidents recorded compared to 854 in 2011. The South East of England, which suffered some of the worst statistics in 2011, is now the most improved region.
