STAINLESS STEEL (316) G50 Proof Coil Trailer Safety Chain 1/4" with 2 of 5/16" Quick Links This is a quality marine grade stainless steel (AISI 316) chain ideal for marine applications or where corrosion resistance is required. The link size is 1/4" or 7mm metric equivalent. This listing is for a single 24" length of chain and includes two high quality 5/16" (8mm) quick links for additional safety. The 5/16" Quick Link is oversized for this size chain and has a higher WLL than the chain itself. Every 3 feet links are stamped "316" on one side and hallmarked "BS01" on the other side. The chain has a WLL of 2020lbs and the quick links a WLL of 2420lbs. See below for detailed specifications. AISI 316 stainless is a premium grade of stainless and is considered by many to be best in class. 316 stainless is corrosion resistant and very durable even in the harshest of conditions. Study: Hybrids safer in accidents, more dangerous to pedestrians
Thu, 17 Nov 2011In the first analysis of its kind, the Highway Loss Data Institute found that drivers of hybrid vehicles are, on average, 25 percent less likely to be injured in a crash than drivers of conventional vehicles. Matt Moore, the data institute's vice president and author of the study, said weight was a big factor in its analysis. “Hybrids on average are 10 percent heavier than their standard counterparts,” Moore said in a statement on Thursday.
