I started making these stainless steel mixing elbows when my Yanmar iron elbow failed me.  I was shocked at the cost and the fact they were still cast iron.  As most of us know; salt water, heat & cast iron don't work well together. When I realized I could fix this, not only for me but for other boat owners around the world, I couldn’t help but try.

I am a manufacturing engineer and have specialized in castings for over 25 years. These parts are guaranteed for 2 years but should last a lifetime. I installed the first one I made into my 4LH-STE in 2005. It still looks new inside and out. The product line has grown only from people asking me to make products for their engine, after stumbling upon another elbow for a different model.  I take a lot of pride in my products; you will see and feel the quality when you receive it.

Please note OEM's have made different mixing elbows for the same engines.  Example: Yanmar has equipped the 4LH-STE with 5 different elbows to accommodate changes in horsepower and engine mounting location in relationship to waterline.  They also change their part numbers often.   My experience is that comparing a picture is always worth more than paying to ship it back.

Jaguar F-Type production threatened by unions

Sun, 13 May 2012

Jaguar F-Type Production plans thwarted by unions Jaguar is attempting to up production at Castle Bromwich to deal with the new F-Type, but unions reject the deal. Just last week we had news that Jaguar are to invest £200 million in to their Castle Bromwich plant ahead of production starting on the new F-Type. As part of the Jaguar Land Rover plan to get Jaguar F-Types flying out of showrooms in the same way Range Rover Evoques do, Jaguar had brokered a deal with unions on working practices at Castle Browmwich to make sure they can cope with demand when the F-Type goes on sale.

Ford Transit XXL (2007): first official pictures

Thu, 04 Jan 2007

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 04 January 2007 10:59 Ford Transit XXL: the lowdown White van man has a new toy, and it's a big one: Ford's Transit XXL. Stretching the tape measure to 7.4m long, it's as long as two regular Transit Tourneo models and has limo-style legroom for seven builders. There are a few more creature comforts than in most Transits, too: captain's armchairs with individual DVD screens and games consoles, and leather trim throughout.

Factory Five 818 kits are now available

Fri, 21 Mar 2014

Factory Five made its bones selling simple Shelby Cobra replicas designed to take advantage of plentiful Ford Fox-body Mustang components. But the Fox Mustang, often hailed as the '55 Chevy of its day, hasn't been in production since 1993. To stay in the game, Factory Five needed a more modern, relatively obtainable performance car to build a kit around.
