Thu, 21 Feb 2013Straight from the deepest depths of “why didn't we think of that?” comes this excellent application of American ingenuity and can-do spirit, a 1987 Chrysler Town and Country station wagon with the “motor, transmission, suspension, brakes and everything little in between” from a 2005 Dodge Neon SRT-4. There are specific changes for the GT and RS models too, with ‘GT’ or ‘RS’ added to the new Renault logo on the bonnet.

The decision to stop making the XK comes after the hugely successful launch of the F-Type – which, say analysts, has led to a big fall in XK sales as thousands of buyers queues up to buy the F-Type. Jaguar XK review (2009 onwards) Jaguar XKR-S Coupe review (2011 onwards) Some estimate Jaguar could triple its sports car volumes with the F-Type over the XK.
