Product Description
SLP pipes offer increased efficiency, more torque and horsepower with a wider powerband. SLPs ERA 2007 Silencing Technology features advanced silencing technology while still providing great weight savings and a rich, full sound. Models equipped with this latest technology still sound like a snowmobile should, but the level of sound output is lower than previously experienced with our ERA 2000 products. Famous for superb fit and finish for easy installation. For the highest level of performance, contact Starting Line Products for their recommended tuning and clutching parts. All carbureted models require clutching and jetting changes. EFI models require clutching changes, and, in some cases, a fuel control module. Ceramic coated canister and pipe. AVG HP Gains 6.2hp peak. Reduces weight by 10lbs. Clutching changes, SLP High Flow air intake are required; Power Commander V recommended but not required. Passed SAE J-2567 sound test below 88 dB.

In the early 1990s, the US government instigated the Partnership for a New Generation of Vehicles research program (PNGV). This brought Ford, GM and Chrysler together to collaborate in developing cars that could achieve up to 80mpg, and be ready to market by 2003. While working on the PNGV, in 1996 Ford introduced the Synergy 2010, featuring the firm's 'New Edge' design that debuted a year earlier with the GT90 concept.

The finals have now been filmed for VW's People's Review of the Tiguan
And it has been interesting. Even VW seem pretty chuffed with the coverage they’ve had. They got 1,000 video applications to enter the People’s Reviewer competition; the reviews the competitors did have had 165k views and 12,500 people have actually voted (that’s 12,400 family and friends of the competitors plus the 100 or so of you who jumped over to have a say!).

Chrysler Group has delayed introduction of a fuel-saving automatic transmission so it can make the shift patterns more palatable to U.S. drivers--the latest sign that a key tool in automakers' plans to meet tougher fuel-economy rules needs some fine-tuning. Two weeks ago, Ford Motor Co., which uses a similar dual-clutch transmission in its Fiesta and Focus, took a hit in Consumer Reports' annual reliability survey because many drivers complained about balky shifting.
