Held in the University's School of Art and Design, the sheer number of graduates guaranteed a broad spread of projects. However, the recurring theme this year was of reinterpreting luxury in a more sustainable and socially conscious manner.

Jaguar has taken every opportunity available to celebrate the half century of the car that transformed them in to a world force – for a while at least – from commemorative books to rallies to Motor Show appearances to…well, just about anywhere they could get a bit of PR. Wed, 17 Nov 2010Cadillac today introduced what it describes as an 'urban luxury concept' - aka a posh supermini to rival the Mini. The small Cadillac was one of the surprises at the 2010 Los Angeles auto show and our reporters on the ground are calling it one of the hits of the show. Clay Dean, director of GM North America, said the Cadillac Urban Luxury Concept stood comparison with Europe's finest city cars. At just under 4 metres long and 1.7 metres wide, he has a point.
