Offered for sale is a stone guard for a 1931 Studebaker President.  Very hard item to find.  The man that made these no longer makes them.  Looks beautiful on a '31 Studebaker President.  Has the basket weave mesh and crank hole cover.  The crank cover alone is a $200 item if you can find them at all.  The price is fair.  Good luck! Start-up EV manufacturer Aptera Motors has announced it is going out of business. The brainchild of former Chrysler brand manager and CEO of ASC Inc, Paul Wilbur, the company had gained approval for a $150 million loan from the U.S. Department of Energy's advanced vehicle fund, but was unable to find further backing.

The company launched its first-gen system four years ago on the C2 and C3, for which it claims fuel savings of up to 27 percent, but it’ll soon be superseded by a new, cheaper system. The second-generation Stop & Start will be launched in 2010 on PSA’s small petrol and – for the first time – diesel models.
