Studebaker Jeep Plymouth Brake Drum Axle Hub Puller on 2040-parts.com
Saint Louis, Missouri, US
This is a gently used puller, made in the USA. This one has the special adapter at the end of the shaft which prevents it from scratching the end of the axle when using it. This is made by herbrand, an old well known tool maker whom make snap-on quality tools. Try getting a rear drum off a car with a tapered axle without one of these, it is not possbile without damaging the drum. These never wear out, they are the type of tools you pass on to the kids He has pulled many a studebaker rear drum with one of these. They are adjustable and you can have two legs or 3 legs. This is usa made when they still knew how to make steel, You will not be sorry with this. . You can remove the legs. They also move around on a swivel to allow you to match the legs to the lug bolts. . Hard to abuse this item so it has lots of life left in it. The threads are good. This looks like it has had gentle use and has a lot of life left in it. These are also used on the newer cars to pull some front hubs I am told. They are referred to as Universal Pullers by some also.

Saab sale to National Electric Vehicle Sweden confirmed
Wed, 13 Jun 2012The sale of a substantial portion of Saab assets to National Electric Vehicle Sweden has been confirmed. It’s taken a very long time, but Saab has finally found a new home in the hands of National Electric Vehicle Sweden, as we reported last week. National Electric Vehicles Sweden has been set up to take over the assets of Saab and is a consortium of Japanese, Swedish and Chinese stakeholders, but it does not get the contentious Saab 9-5 technology that has dogged the sale of Saab so far.
