Factory Subaru SPT High Flow Air Intake

Part # SOA8431030

Your Price $70.17

The SPT Heat Shield helps ensure that the SPT Intake is able to supply the engine with cool air, which reduces the loss of power that comes from a heated intake charge. Cooler air is drawn from inside the passenger front wheel well and behind the headlight - not from the hotter areas surrounding the turbocharger, engine and radiator.

Unlike a traditional cold-air intake, which places the filter element as low as possible in the vehicle, this setup helps to supply cool air, limiting the risks of water ingestion.

And what easier way to go than to take the new Toyota RAV4 and turn it in to a Lexus?

BMW reveals ferocious new M3 and M4

Thu, 12 Dec 2013

IF YOU’RE no fan of Top Gear-style wheel-spinning, tyre-smoking oversteer, then it’s probably best to look away now, because BMW has unveiled the new M3 and M4. Essentially the same car underneath, the main differences come in the number of doors and the suspension settings, with the M3 built as a four-door, slightly more forgiving saloon and the M4 as a harder-edged two-door coupe. But both will go very sideways, if that’s the sort of thing that revs your engine, thanks to a shared 425bhp six-cylinder engine that sends all that juicy power to the rear wheels.

Honda CR-Z – production ready at Detroit

Tue, 12 Jan 2010

Honda has revealed the production-ready CR-Z at the Detroit Motor Show Honda are very keen to catch up with Toyota in the hybrid car wars. The Honda Insight was their answer to the Prius (although better looking it was even more woeful to drive than the Prius) and Honda are now looking to move in to the ‘Sporty’ Hybrid market with the Honda CR-Z. Honda revealed the CR-Z back in October at the Tokyo Motor Show, and did the usual new model think of labeling it as a concept.
