Alfa Romeo 4C to spearhead marque's return to the US

Alfa Romeo is coming back to the U.S. this summer, and at next month's New York auto show the company will present the 4C Coupe to the American public. We need to take a step back to point out that even though the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione was officially sold on our shores in a handful of locations (to a smattering of well-heeled buyers), the automaker's planned return this summer will offer cars for--ahem--a slightly larger audience.

By James Foxall Motor Shows 02 April 2009 14:49 What’s new on Ssangyong’s Seoul motor show stand?There was palpable relief on the Ssangyong stand in Seoul as the motor show press day followed a company conference where its rejuvenation package had been outlined to worried importers. This is being led by the C200, a Nissan Qashqai-style crossover SUV that will come in both two -and four-wheel drive formats. Production of Ssangyong’s first ever monocoque car starts in November 2009 and it’ll be on sale in the UK for March 2010, promising a cheap alternative to traditional makers.

Lamborghini has committed to reducing their CO2 footprint by 35% by 2015 We’ve seen luxury marques such as Bentley reveal bio-fuel cars, and Ferrari is working on a number of initiatives to reduce its emissions. And now its the turn of Lamborghini to let us know the direction they’re heading. To be fair to Lamborghini, they are already heading down a lower emissions route.
