Suburban Water Heater SW6P for RV Camper Trailer LP Gas

Pilot 6 Gallon

Quality you want ... now and down the road.

The best water heaters on the road today, Suburban's line of water heaters includes high recovery gas, gas-electric and motor aid models with sizes and features to match the requirements of almost any RV.

Longer Life
Heated water attacks all metals, but not porcelain. That's why Suburban uses a porcelain-lined, steel water heater tank with an anode rod to "absorb" the electrolytical action - just like your water heater at home. In fact, when a Suburban porcelain-lined tank is properly maintained, tank life may double or triple its three-year limited warranty, saving owners the cost of premature replacement. In addition, every Suburban tank is pressure tested twice during the manufacturing process to ensure its integrity.

Faster Recovery
Fast recovery means more hot water and fewer cool water cycles. Six-, 10-, 12- and 16-gallon Suburban gas water heaters feature 12,000 BTUH input and a recovery rate of 10.2 gallons per hour - that's the fastest in the industry. Combination gas/electric models also use a 1,440-watt element to recover an additional 6.0 gallons per hour at campsites. For higher recovery, both the gas and electric element may be used simultaneously.

Suburban also uses a co-polymer insulation jacket specially molded to fit the tank. This does a better job of retaining heat than the "cardboard" style used on some competitive models.

More Convenience
All Suburban water heaters are designed for easy installation, operation and maintenance. The limit switch, reset button and on/off electric element rocker switch are conveniently located in a housing behind the removable outer door. The electric heat element and combination drain plug/anode rod are also located there. For convenience of installation, rough-in openings for Suburban water heaters are small and less likely to interfere with RV exterior design.

Nissan Juke: New Photos

Sat, 29 May 2010

New photo gallery of the Nissan Juke below The push to get Nissan’s compact crossover – the Nissan Juke – in to car buyers’ sights will be ramping up over the coming months as Nissan tries to make the Juke as big a surprise success as its big brother – the Nissan Qashqai. The Qashqai almost single handed created a new niche, and the Nissan Juke looks to us as if it has every chance of doing the same. To our surprise – when we published the UK prices for the Nissan Juke this week – we discovered that the starting price was coming in at less than £13k, pitching the Juke against cars like the Ford Fiesta and VW Polo.

Which also means it’s on carbs and is delivering a healthy 240bhp. ‘The carburettor cars are the best in terms of engine response,’ says Karl Virdi, ‘most people steer clear of the ’81-82 injected cars.
