Up for auction we have a nice set of 21X7X10 Bridgestone Dirt Hooks on OEM aluminum wheels for the Suzuki LT 500R/250R Quadracers. These are in good shape, but they are not perfect. I have taken pics on the inner and outer portions of the wheels so you know what you are getting. The tires have about 65% tread left. There’s an argument that the move in to more compact car sales by premium car makers will see their turnover rise and their profits fall as more compact cars tend to work on smaller margins than high-end luxury cars. But Mercedes has defied that logic by posting a 16 per cent increase in profits for the third quarter of 2013, boosted by sales of the new compact coupé – the Mercedes CLA.
Volkswagen updates Scirocco
Sat, 15 Feb 2014Volkswagen has revealed an upgraded Scirocco, which will make its world premiere at the Geneva motor show in early March. Among the changes to Wolfsburg’s 6-year-old coupe are some subtle exterior changes, higher quality interior, and new four-cylinder engines, including a 276-hp version of Volkswagen’s EA888 turbocharged 2.0-liter in the new top-of-the-range Scirocco R. Other engines include a 1.4-liter, 123-hp four and a 2.0-liter producing 177 hp, 217 hp or 276 hp.
