But now, just a year later, the Geely Emgrand EC7 and the MG6 – both made in China – have scored four starts in the last set of Euro NCAP tests for 2011. Late Tuesday, General Motors and Chrysler submitted their recovery plans to the government. The bottom line: GM and Chrysler say the need another $18 billion total in government loans to make it until auto sales turn around.
