Runs good. Cover has a crack. Pull string missing and spring came undone. Can be fixed. I started it with my drill.
Brand:Tanaka Stroke:2-Stroke Manufacturer Part Number:TOB-12b

For sale is a vintage 2 stroke, 1 horsepower, TAS Motor. Model TOB-12B. Made in 1974. The cover is a little weathered and has a crack, about 1-1/2" long. See photo 5. The pull string is missing and the recoil spring needs to be reset. Any shop can fix that. It runs great. I replaced the fuel line and cleaned the carb and it fired right up. I started it with my drill, worked great! It has a cable lock around it so it can be locked to the boat if you need to. In photo 9 you can see it still has its rubber spare parts holder. With a prop pin and cotter pins, cool! I'll also include a 19 page copy of the illustrated parts manual. Overall this is a nice little vintage canoe or trolling motor. Please ask any questions before bidding. As-Is. All sales are final. No returns or refunds. Paypal only. Thank you.

Cadillac Ciel Concept - sybaritic style for Californians It’s not hard to tell the General Motors has found its Mojo again after losing it to Uncle Sam; all you need to do is take one look at the Cadillac Ciel Concept that’s turned up at Pebble Beach this weekend, probably the boldest Cadillac Concept since the Cadillac Sixteen. The Cadillac Ciel is a big, impressive four-seat convertible designed to epitomise the American Dream, as it cruises along the Pacific Coast Highway, cosseting its occupants in sybaritic style. But this is 2011, so there’s a nod to the eco-sensibilities car makers feel the need to embrace.

Major restrictions suggested for learner drivers

Fri, 11 Oct 2013

A NEW report on potential changes to young driver training could cut accident casualties by more than 4,000 a year. The report, from transport research group TRL, recommends teenagers should not be allowed to take their driving test until they are 18, rather than the current threshold of 17. They would have to have a 12-month "learner stage" beginning at 17 with a requirement for at least 100 hours of day-time and 20 hours of night-time supervised practice.
