About the adapter
This billet adapter is made by Trusted Design Services, LLC in San Antonio, TX.
Made from solid 6061-T6 aluminum barstock.
The mounting pattern is 2" center to center using 2ea 5/16 bolts.
Both ends are threaded for mounting so you can plumb from either direction.
The adapter measures 2.8" x 3.4" x 1.1" thick, and milled on every side to ensure perfect fit and function.
The filter nipple is steel and is assembled using Loctite and a peen at the base of the thread (as shown).
Threaded on both ends to accommodate flow in either direction.

Mystery Porsche prototype destroyed in fire near Stuttgart

According to the Porsche-lovers at flatsixes.com, an unknown Porsche prototype caught fire after being taken home by an employee earlier this week. It reportedly took 19 firefighters to extinguish the blaze, which occurred in a home garage in Ludwigsburg, Germany (a city located near Porsche's home in Stuttgart). Fortunately, the employee and his wife suffered only minor injuries, but we assume the prototype is a complete loss.

Despite a three-box profile, the 5.5-liter V12 diesel engine is located behind passengers, putting out 700PS. Transversely mounted with a wide V angle, the engine still allows space for four occupants, with a trunk accessed via a motorised opening.
