TWIN DISC / TECHNODRIVE model TMC 40 P marine transmission, new, with 1 year warranty. Your choice of 1.45:1, 2:1, or 2.6:1 reduction ratio. List price is $1259, we sell these new units discounted. Add $59 if you need the optional shift cable bracket and cable clamp. [ not shown ] It is rated for a maximum 34.8 horsepower diesel engine at 3600 rpm. The engine must have left hand [ counterclockwise ] rotation, when looking at the flywheel. A right hand propeller [ clockwise rotation, when looking at the prop from the stern of the boat ] must be used. It will bolt to a 4" diameter Borg Warner / Velvet Drive prop shaft coupler. We have these couplers in stock, new, to fit 3/4", 7/8", 1", 1.25" and 1.375" diameter prop shafts. $69 each. Add $5 for the bolt coupling set [ consists of four fine thread bolts and washers that are needed to connect this transmission to your prop shaft coupler ] It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure this transmission will fit the application. Button wins in Monaco – another Brawn 1-2
Sun, 24 May 2009Button wins the Monaco Grand Prix 2009 [ad#ad-1] This year’s Formula One season is starting to turn in to a cross between a Roy of the Rovers special and a Disney Fairytale. Not content with simply getting the Brawn GP team up and running just in time for the start of the season, and then going on to win four of the first five Grand Prix of the year, Button and Barichello have crowned all those achievements for Brawn GP by winning in spectacular one-two style at the F1 ‘Jewel in the Crown’ event in Monaco. Button got off to a great start in qualifying by grabbing pole in the closing minutes of Q3 qualifying to join Raikkonen on the front row of the grid, with Barrichello riding shotgun for Button on the second row.
Porsche acquires Nardo Test Track as its new playground
Thu, 12 Apr 2012Porsche Nardo Test Track (map from Google Earth) The enormous Nardo Test Track near Lecce, Italy, has been acquired by Porsche as a new testing ground. Top Gear viewers will probably remember the opening episode if the last series of Top Gear (series 18) with the Lamborghini, McLaren and Noble in Italy or, more specifically, in the Lecce region of Italy which nestles in the warmth of Italy’s heel. The Lecce region also houses the Nardo Test Track which is where the boys took their supercars to hammer round the slightly bumpy outer oval seeking top speed.
