(Gas) Tax Day: How much are you paying?

Today is April 18, also known as Tax Day in the United States. Since we're car enthusiasts and not accountants, we decided to ignore the half-finished 1040 on the kitchen table and take a look at a tax that means a lot more to us--the gas tax. The gas tax is the portion of every gallon that pays for road maintenance and other transportation projects.

Mercedes-Benz will launch a wagon version of the second-generation CLS sedan as a rival to the recently introduced BMW 5-series GT and the upcoming Audi A7. Not surprisingly, the C63 gets a more than adequate spec including Nappa Leather AMG sports seats, COMAND, mechanical locking rear diff, dynamic engine mounts, unique tracks front and back, upgraded AMG brakes, quad tailpipes, new front wings to cover the wider track, rear spoiler and 18″ alloys.
