Item Description:
Teleflex Hydraulic Tie Bar Valve HA5471
or HA-5471.

Allows for the periodic required realignment of two outboard motors or rudders that are linked together with a Hydraulic Tie Bar as opposed to a solid link of a Mechanical Tie Bar.  A standard helm and SeaStar hoses may be used on vessels not exceeding speeds of 55 mph.  For vessels exceeding speeds of 55 mph a SeaStar Pro helm and Pro hoses must be used.

Improtant Information:
This Adjustment Valve was removed from a working steering system and replaced with the new Teleflex Hydraulic Tie Bar Valve # HA5471-2 that has the "T" handle release lever for easier customer convience. Look closely at the adjustment screw and notice that the slot is worn.  The valve is still functional, although you need to apply steady downward pressure to the adjustment valve slot to keep your screwdriver from slipping out of the slot.

It’s understandable if you have genuine concerns about the credentials of a party to the deal, but taking Vlad out of the equation was an accident waiting to happen. Without Vlad there was no financial safety net for Saab.

James May Science Museum App If you fancy the idea of Top Gear’s James May teaching you science then a new App from the Science Museum is right up your street. Regular Top Gear viewers may remember Messrs Clarkson, May and Hammond taking on ‘Art’ a few seasons ago to teach Northerners how to appreciate galleries. Part of what they did – apart from stealing ’Footballists’ to populate the gallery – was an audio guide for the art gallery tour narrated by James May.
