TEXAS PARASOL
HOME-BUILT EXPERIMENTAL AIRCRAFT

Plans and Builder's Manual  all on one CD

The PARASOL design is a rather generic term applied to aircraft utilizing the distinct wing cross-section profile that gives rise to the unique lift characteristics and stability inherent with this design. The Parasol family owes its birth back in the early 20th century, to the Heath Parasol, grand-daddy of 'em all, which first saw light of day in the early 1920s!!

The design offered with this item is a lot younger than that, but still well worthy of your consideration! Great flying fun; economical to operate and maintain; quite the craft!!

The CD contains both the Construction Manual and the full set of Diagrams for this plane. The manual is absolutely complete, and the diagrams are exquisitely clear high resolution. This is one rare beauty that you do not want to miss!

Note: Adobe Acrobat Reader or equivalent PDF file utility is required.
These are freely available on the internet (freeware) if you don't already have one.

Daimler to axe Maybach in 2013. New Mercedes S Class Pullman instead

Fri, 25 Nov 2011

Maybach Axed We’ve been preidtcing the demise of Maybach for some time. After all, who wants an old S Class with chintzy trim and lots of toys for more money than a Rolls Royce Phantom? And now it seems that Daimler has also realised their revival of the Maybach has fallen flat on its face (except in Germany and to a pair from the Dragons’ Den) and it’s time to move on.

Bahrain F1 win for Button & Brawn GP

Sun, 26 Apr 2009

Button wins for Brawn GP in Bahrain - the third win of the F1 season for Button/Brawn GP [ad#ad-1] It looked after practice and qualifying that Brawn’s measure had been acquired; at least by Toyota and  Red Bull. After all, the best Brawn could manage was fourth on the grid with Button, and a front row lock-out by Toyota, and Vettel’s third on the grid, seemed to strike a note of reality for this years F1 season. Those who condemned Brawn’s early success this year called it luck.

F1 Korean Grand Prix: Red Bull CGI Video

Sun, 17 Oct 2010

Red Bull treat us to a CGI of the new F1 track in South Korea The F1 Circus gets bigger and bigger every year as Bernie Ecclestone continues his aim to host a Grand Prix in every country that can scrape together a few hundred million to add to the bank of Ecclestone. And one of the newest to succumb to the charms of Bernie and F1 is South Korea. There have been doubts that South Korea would get their act together and have their shiny new F1 facility ready to roll for 24th October (next Sunday), but it looks like the track has been signed off for next week’s race.
