Raybestos Stage-1, What is it?

Stage-1 Performance Frictions are an economical performance solution that fills the gap between “stock” tan plates and the gen2 Blue Plate Special. They offer greater holding capacity, durability and less wear than other red performance plates.

Recommended Usage:

Front and rear wheel drive domestic and import or Tuner” performance applications making less than 600 horsepower.

This kit does not include the reverse band.

You must include the year model for the 1965 - Early 1967 transmissions, they will require a different filter, If this information is not received we will ship the Late 1967 filter, Thanks

This is a basic overhaul kit for your transmission. We suggest changing all the bushing, thrust washers and the thrust bearing during your rebuild. There may be broken hard parts in the transmission that was your problem that caused the rebuild. Inspect all the hard parts very closely while you clean the parts. If you are new to rebuilding automatic transmissions, remember to soak all friction materials for 30 minutes in clean transmission fluid before installing.
