visiting Phoenix Transmission Parts This is a Turbo 400 TH400 GM Transmission Raybestos High Performance Blue Plate Clutch Set and Kolene Steel Set 1965 and Up Blue Plate special, the ultimate racing clutch for automatic transmissions, is the perfect clutch for all types of racing. It features an improved Raybestos-developed material that offers optimum shift and power absorption at a level far above all the other racing clutches. This racing clutch provides appositive engagement under high power conditions where all the energy absorption is condensed into a very short length of time. It is a state-of-the-art, power-absorbing clutch that performs with very low wear, excellent fatigue strength, high durability and quick shifts with little shock for even faster times. It transfers energy without overheating or warping steel plates under all types of race conditions. Kolene is a high performance steel plate which has a surface treatment that enhances wear and fatigue resistance from 200%-500%. These plates are higher heat resistant and offer increased lubricity. Kolene is a salt bath nitriding process. It is a thermochemical diffusion process, whereby ferrous parts are processed in molten salt with a specific nitrogen potential. We build all our

Volkswagen says Italdesign purchase will boost its growth strategy
Tue, 25 May 2010Volkswagen AG will acquire a 90 percent stake in Italdesign Giugiaro S.p.A., VW said Tuesday. The Giugiaro family will retain 10 percent in the 42-year-old automotive styling company that is famous for designing cars such as the first-generation Volkswagen Golf. VW CEO Martin Winterkorn said Italdesign will make an important contribution to the automaker's 2018 global growth strategy.
