The item up for auction is a NEW Set of Thule LB58 58" Load Bars complete with End Caps. This set of bars and caps is brand new. We purchased it for a trip and ended up being the wrong size for our vehicle so we tucked them away and forgot to return them. We missed the return window and we cannot use them so your gain. Please note the items are unused but we do not have the original packaging. We will shrink wrap the bars, wrap them, and put them in a long tube or box. Shipping can be determined below. Congress scales back tax break for car buyers

A proposed tax break for new-vehicle buyers is dramatically scaled back in the final version of the economic stimulus bill. Auto dealers and their allies had sought to make interest on auto loans and the sales and excise taxes on new-vehicle purchases deductible from federal taxes. Proponents say those measures are needed to boost showroom traffic and sales.

The Sigma engine – used in the Fiesta and Focus – is available with two outputs: 125bhp in the Roadsport (pictured), or 140bhp in Superlight trim. A third engine with around 160bhp will follow in spring 2007.

New Land Rover Defender Concept expected at Frankfurt Last week AE ran a report that suggested Land Rover were considering dumping the iconic Defender from their range as it was perhaps too difficult to find a cost-effective way to update it. Which we didn’t buy for a minute. As far as we can see, the Land Rover Defender is so iconic that Tata would have to find a way to keep it viable and in production even if they lost money on every Defender they built.
