Land Rover Freelander 2 HSE Review & Road Test Part 2

Wed, 19 May 2010

Part 2 of the Freelander 2 Raod Test and review If you look at the Freelander 2 and compare its style to its modern rivals – such as the Audi Q5 – it looks a bit staid and frumpy. But change your perspective just a little and it becomes a convincing interpretation of an urban Land Rover. It’s bigger then its predecessor – taller and wider with an extra 4″ in the wheelbase – and it feels a much more grown-up vehicle than it was.

McLaren P1′s Pirelli P Zero Corsas key to performance +video

Sat, 09 Mar 2013

The new McLaren P1 is shod with custom-made Pirelli P Zero Corsa Tyres specially developed to meet the challenges of a 903bhp supercar. Ron Dennis has already told us that he has driven the P1 round the Top Gear test track at Dunsfold a full 10 seconds quicker than the Pagani Huayra went round, so we know the P1 has huge abilities on tap. But what’s also interesting is that Ron did his Top Gear lap on the P1′s road tyres, specially developed for McLaren by Pirelli, and not on hand-cut slicks like the Pagani Huayra.

Porsche Cajun: the 2-door coupe crossover

Tue, 12 Oct 2010

The Porsche Cajun Coupe Crossover It’s only a week or two since we finally discovered for certain that Porsche will be building an SUV / Crossover based on the Audi Q5. And yes, we fully expect the Porsche Chilli and the Porsche Jalapeno to join in at some point in the future.
