Store: T’Flite Patty’s Shop Mart New, stamped steel “extra-deep” oil pan for the 1962-1965
Torqueflite 727 (3” overall depth versus 2-1/4” for the MoPar Performance stamped steel deep
pan) for use in passenger car & light trucks. Adds aprox. 2 quart fluid
capacity to the Torqueflite 727 over a stock factory pan AND 1 quart more than
Mopar Performance’s stamped steel deep oil pan. Has criss-crossed ribbed bottom
for strength & rigidity. Oil pan package specifically for the automatic-operating
CABLE-SHIFT Torqueflite 727; applicable for 1962 through 1965 727 used on 318,
361, 383, 413, 426 Street Wedge and Hemi 426. Transmission filter extension has
second suction hole for rear pump operation, necessary for correct Torqueflite
governor operation and to maintain “push-start” capability. ALL Chrysler Corp.
AUTOMATIC Torqueflites built from 1960-1965 can be push-started. Package
contains extra-depth stamped steel deep pan (2-7/8” overall height), filter
extension/spacer, 3 – filter-extension to-valve-body screws & washers, 2 -
‘O’ rings to seal filter-extension to valve body, correct Dacron 2-hole
transmission oil filter (necessary for correct governor operation in 1960-1965
Torqueflites), oil pan gasket, rear drain plug installed & oil pan gasket.
Adds aprox. 2 quart fluid capacity to the Torqueflite over a stock pan plus the
convenience of a drain plug. An added advantage of the stamped steel pan is
it’s ability to dent when struck, but resist breakage & easier to repair if
necessary (cast aluminum pans tend to break). Shipping cost via USPS Priority
Mail is $ 28.85; insurance available for an additional $ 3.50. We ship
purchases twice weekly, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Contact us with technical
questions. Also available: filter extension kits for all years; see my eBay
Store or contact us for info. We also carry most Torqueflite 727 & 904
“soft” parts in “open stock”, available by the piece (gaskets, seals, bushings,
‘O’ rings, clutch discs, steel plates, lip seals, bands, thrust washers,
filters, metal sealing rings, etc.) or in “sub-kits” for single-function
repair; most Torqueflite 727 & 904 “hard” parts also available. See a

2012 Audi A3 Debuts: Geneva 2012
Tue, 06 Mar 2012New Audi A3 arrives at Geneva The all new Audi A3 has debuted at Geneva as a 3 door looking just like the current A3 – but it’s completely new. The 2012 Audi A3 has arrived at Geneva 2012, and it looks like the VW Group is starting to learn from Porsche’s designers; the new A3 is a new car but, unless you look hard, it could be the old A3. Sitting on a longer wheelbase than the current A3, which promises more room inside, and a bit wider too, the new A3 gets Audi’s square-cornered frill with large air intakes and the now familiar Audi headlights with LED running lights.

ANALYSIS: The incredible shrinking Alfa stand at the Geneva motor show
Wed, 15 Dec 2010When he talks, Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne conveys high hopes that the Alfa Romeo brand soon will be a huge business success, but actions often speak louder than words. Fiat has massively reduced the size of the 100-year-old sporty brand's stand at the forthcoming Geneva show. In March, Alfa's stand will shrink to 639 square meters from this year's 979 square meters, which was the second-largest display space among Fiat Group's portfolio after the Fiat brand.
