Maximum stall speed with a 360 engine would be aprox. 2600 RPM; if you are replacing the larger 11 ¾” low-stall torque converter with this 10 ¾” high-stall converter, the stall speed INCREASE would be aprox. 500 RPM. Fresh, rebuilt 10 ¾” (WIDE ring gear) 727 HIGH STALL, non-lockup torque converter; this converter is externally balanced specifically for 1971 through late 1980’s 360 engines (NON-Magnum).
