New Jaguar XJ – the last new Jaguar XJ tease?
Tue, 30 Jun 2009Mike Cross - Jaguar's Chief Engineer Vehicle Integrity - talks about the Driving Dynamics of the New Jaguar XJ This time we get a new talking head – Mike Cross, Chief Engineer – Vehicle Integrity – so I’m pretty sure he has a fair degree of knowledge on his subject (actually, as an aside, it’s Mike who will be driving the Jaguar XKR Goodwood Special up the Hillclimb this weekend. Enterprise will rent you a Harley-Davidson
Wed, 16 Oct 2013If you're in the unenviable position of having to rent a vehicle while traveling, and Hertz's Penske GT Mustangs or dream cars aren't quite your style (or within your budget), you're now able to free yourself from caged drudgery and rent a motorcycle from Enterprise. If you're headed to Las Vegas, at least. Enterprise isn't the first company that will rent you a two-wheeler (Eaglerider, for example, has locations across the globe) but does seem to be the first major auto rental business to diversify into motorcycles.
Brief 2 – Cadillac: CDN–GM Interactive Design Competition
Tue, 12 Aug 2014Car Design News and General Motors are once again holding an Interactive Design Competition. There are five briefs to choose from, set by GM's designers, and you're invited to submit your entry on the competition website: http://www.cardesigncontest.com/ Cadillac's brief offers an interesting challenge: looking to the horizon – while considering global luxury customers, competitors and trends – how would you design a Cadillac V-Series vehicle for an urban environment? The brief asks for your to design a B- or C-segment car that embodies Cadillac brand philosophy and vehicle attributes, and should give an evolutionary perspective on the firm's Art & Science design philosophy.
